New York Weight Goal

So I went out to Benihana's for my sisters birthday, and I wasn't too bad. I only had one beer, and I had a very tiny piece of cheese cake. I had a Lot of veggies along with the little bowl of fried rice, and a grilled tofu appetizer. It was yummy, and it don't feel too bad about it!
I'm worried about my eating and exercising while I'm in NY for 10 days. It's so freakin cold, I'm not sure that I'll go for a run... Although I want to, and I'll try. I won't have a dog to walk. My boyfriend works one day that I'm there, so I'll go to yoga for sure that day, that's the only thing I can for sure count on.
Then there's the NYC food that I love so much. I usually have a list of places I need to eat. I'm really unsure how this will go with food. I have decided to mostly give up dairy, so will I eat at my 3 fav pizza places while I'm there? I'm not sure. It's so so so yummy, but on the other hand I decided I didn't want to participate and support these dairy farms, and put that crap in my body. It's a real battle.  He will be eating this food, so it's just a matter if I can hold back or not. He is very supportive, but he does not want to eat the way I eat for himself.
Anyways, wish me luck. I will likely do what feels best for me at the time.

  2. Yay for NYC...i have never been...for the running part see if the is a gym close by tht you can do a week free trial...a lot of gyms offer that. It is whst i do when i go out of town

    2. You've got this Beans! Do what feels right. If you want something to eat then go ahead and eat it. Just watch the portions and do more sampling than devouring. Have a great time. It's only 10 days.
